Hella Hot Aurora Studio Guidelines

Phase 1* (We are here now)

  • 18 spots available for in-person classes, All are welcome 
  • Studio owned rental mats  & Hot Pilates equipment temporarily unavailable
  • Must pre-register & pre-pay before class (credit card only, no cash sales at this time),  
  • Showers, changing areas & cubbies temporarily unavailable
  • Extensive cleaning and disinfecting
  • Hot Room air exhausted and fresh, filtered air exchanged during and after class frequently & regularly
  • Social distancing and CDC guidelines followed, including face mask if unable to maintain social distance within space.
  • Upon arrival,  immediately enter hot room, then immediately exit after class
  • Bathrooms (toilet stalls only) are open.
  • Waiver electronically signed prior to class**

  • 30+ spots available for in-person classes
  • Studio owned mats may be rented, Studio equipment used for Hot Pilates with Weight and Bands

Studio Policies

Our studio policies have been created to ensure transparency and to maintain fair and equitable treatment of all our clients.

To help us better serve you and to aid the class check-in process, we are requesting that all clients register for their classes in advance.  This helps with planning of the class and ensures that you have a spot.

How to Register for Class

You may pre-register for class several ways; either through our website scheduler or through our desktop MINDBODY site or by downloading this app from your app store.  If space allows, you may reserve your spot up to 1-Hour before class starts, and schedule 5 days out for future classes.

How to create / access your Account

You will need to create an online account in order to register online. Please note, if you have been to our studio even ONCE then you already have an account!  You only need to create a password to login to your existing account. To find your account, use the email address you provided the first time you came to the studio. This prevents you from inadvertently creating a duplicate account.  If you have not been to our studio, then you will need to create an account.  

This process applies to all three ways of pre-registering for class.  Utilizing the MindBody app is the most convenient way to pre-register.

Opt-in for Messages

In order to better serve you and provide you with current information, reminders and notifications, we humbly ask you to “opt-in” to all reminders and notifications.  This will ensure you have all the necessary information needed to manage your account, book your classes, receive purchase receipts and know what is happening at the studio.  Check your notification preferences (MindBody Profile, Click gear icon), "opt-in" for our communications.

To ensure that everyone who pre-registers may count on their spot being available, please take a few moments to review our late cancel and no show policy.


For all classes 2-Hour notice is needed to cancel or a no show/late cancel fee will be charged to the credit card on file. Cancellations may be made on the MINDBODY site or the MINDBODY App only.  To avoid the charge, you may send us an email within the 2-Hour window advising your cancellation.

All NO SHOWS (without notification) will be charged a no show fee of $20 fee.


Will lose one visit from their pricing option.  Unlimited Memberships will be charged a late cancel fee of $20.

If your late cancel or no show is due to an emergency, illness, work, etc please inform us within 24 hours by email at or your card will be charged. Please let us know the reason why you were unable to attend class.

Class Cancellations by HHA

Canceled classes due to weather or other unforeseen events will show on the schedule page of our website and the MINDBODY App. Clients with reservations will receive notification by email or text.  No penalty is incurred for studio cancellations.

Reservations for full classes will not be taken over the phone, nor will cancellations.

Wait List

When a class is full, you may add yourself to the wait list. If a spot becomes available, you will be notified via text or email.   A few notes concerning the wait list:

  • Please confirm your attendance when you receive this notification via the email or text or cancel from the class list if the class does not fit your schedule. Failure to confirm your attendance may result in a late cancel or no show charge (see above).

  • By adding yourself to the wait list, you’re agreeing by default to take the class if it becomes available.

  • You may cancel or decline the wait list spot up to 3-hours before class without penalty. Cancellations may be made on the MINDBODY site or the MINDBODY App only.

  • In your profile, be sure you’ve “opted in” for text messaging or email notifications.

  • If a spot becomes available less than 3-hours before class, you may receive a call to confirm if you want the spot. No late cancel charges will be incurred if the spot is not accepted.

  • If you DID NOT receive an email, text or phone call then a spot is not available. 

Class is Full
During our busy classes, you may find the “Class is Full” on our online class schedule.  If you have pre-registered for class, don’t despair your spot is waiting for you!  Come in, confirm your arrival with staff at the front desk and come into class.  If, however, you have not pre-registered for class, we are sorry to inform our room capacity has been reached and there are no more spots available for that class.  Utilizing our data from past years as well as most recent times, we have thoughtfully and analytically determined our class capacity for each of our class types.  We kindly ask you to respect this and not try to make your way into class.  

Drop-In Arrivals

As all classes require pre-registration, no drop-in arrivals please; all clients must pre-register.

Class start times

In order to begin class on time, we ask that you be at the studio, check-in with staff and arrive on your mat at least 5 minutes before class begins.  We get it, sometime life gets in the way and you’re running a bit late!  All we ask is you do your best!

Declined Payments

Please understand that you will be notified if your credit card fails to authorize for any reason, and that a $20 late fee will apply if you do not provide a valid credit card (or alternate payment method) within 2 calendar days of the original rejection date.   Also understand that your service will be deactivated if your account becomes more than 15 calendar days late.

Payment on Account & Payment for Services

We allow payments on account for rental mats, towels and beverages.  If your account balance becomes negative, we will automatically add $10 to your account using your credit card on file.

All services require pre-payment, online pricing options are available for purchase.  Call us and we'll be happy to help process your sale.


There are no extensions, refunds or transfers on ANY class package or membership.  Any unused or unworn retail items may be returned within 7 days from date of purchase for account credit or exchange only.

Lost & Found

Any unclaimed items will be donated immediately.  Please make sure you have all your belongings BEFORE leaving the studio.

Entrance & Exit

Studio Opens 15 minutes before class begins.  Hot Room & Studio close immediately following class (as per current social distancing requirements), please safely exit the hot room and studio immediately (that’s after two minute Savasana for yoga classes) following class.

Showers & Changing Areas

As per current social distancing requirements, showers, changing areas, cubby usage is temporarily suspended.  Leave keys, coats, etc. with your shoes at our front door.  

Major Holidays

In observance of seven major holidays celebrated nationwide, we will plan to be closed on the following days (unless otherwise noted on our schedule) New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day.

Registration & Liability Waiver

All participants are required to pre-register and electronically sign (one-time submission) our Liability Waiver prior to taking class with us.  

Beverages for Sale

For your thirst needs, we stock a variety of flavored bottled water for sale $2.  We no longer sell unflavored bottled water (i.e. Ice Mountain).  Insead, you can purchase a reusable 20 oz. Bike Bottle (with Hella Hot Aurora logo) for $5 and fill-up your bottle at our no-touch, filtered water station.  Choosing a reusable water bottle is clearly better for the environment in countless ways.  They use less oil, release less carbon dioxide, they won't pack landfills, and they won't pollute the oceans killing millions of marine creatures.  Thank you for helping save Mother Earth.
