26 Postures and 2 Breathing Exercises. This is based on the traditional hot yoga and consists of 26 fundamental yoga postures from Bishnu Ghosh's yoga lineage. The Original Hot Yoga (aka Bikram Yoga) is a 90 minute Beginner's Yoga Class.
This sequence offers beginner and advanced students alike the opportunity to explore both standing and floor postures, building flexibility and strength in both body and mind. Consistent and intelligently aligned practice will help bring an overall sense of calmness into all areas of your life.
The 26 postures systemically move fresh, oxygenated blood to one hundred percent of your body, to each organ and tissue, restoring all systems to a healthy working order. The order of the postures never changes, they are performed in a heated room at 105F with humidity at 40%. This class is the classic sequence with 26 beginner's poses and 2 breathing exercises.
The Original Hot Yoga 60 is also a Beginner's Yoga Class, however this shortened version is considered a "maintenance class" of the 90 minute therapuetic session. So if you're short on time, yet want to stretch, detox and feel better, this is a quick hot yoga class option.
INFERNO HOT PILATES
Inferno Hot Pilates is a fun, full body, low impact, high-intensity workout using Pilates principals. It is performed in a warm 95F degree room with energetic music. Hot Pilates is an amazing workout that strengthens muscles and burns fat without the pounding of a high impact workout.
In this meditative yoga class, poses are held for longer periods of time in order to stretch out, over time, lengthen the deep connective tissue in the body and improve joint flexibility. Yin specifically targets the ligaments and tendons in joints in order to improve range of motion and flexibility. Yin yoga was designed to help you sit longer and more comfortably for the purpose of seated meditation. Slow down your vigorous yoga practice with a calming yin class and leave feeling like you're floating in the clouds. You may bring your own props (clean & sanitized) yoga blocks and strap to assist your Yin poses, however props are not necessary to attend this class. Room is heated to 85F. All levels welcome.
HOT 26+ YOGA
Shortened (60 minute) version of the Original Hot Yoga 90 minute class. Familiar 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises, along with adding some intermediate poses. Music is added to this class. Room is heated 105F. All levels welcome. This format is offered sporadically, therefore, check schedule for updates.
Improve faster, stay injury free and have fun every time you practice on your mat. cYoga classes always have a clearly defined theme. During the class, we move in one direction of mobility and we go deep into it. This way, we prepare the body for more intense poses within that theme, the peak poses. You may bring your own (clean & sanitized) yoga blocks & straps, however, props are not necessary to attend this class . Room is heated to 90F. All levels welcome.
